Where to Stay
The weekend of our wedding is also around the salmon fly fishing season. This brings in many folks to the area and hotels are limited, so we advise to book well in advance… well in advance…
The closest major grocery store is in the Dalles ~30 minutes away, so plan accordingly.
Local Hotels. Less than 20 minutes away.

- River Run Lodge — B&B-style lodge, a short walk to the river in Maupin.
- Oasis Cabin Resort — Historic cabins on Hwy 197
- The Balch – Built in 1907 and listed on the National Register of historic Places, the Balch Hotel sits in the small town of Dufur (ask not what Dufur can do for you, but what you can do for Dufur).
